The Klett Colour Scale, based on the now long discontinued Klett-Summerson transmittance Photoelectric Colorimeter, is used for measuring transmittance colour of detergents and surfactants. It is also sometimes used for checking Caramel colour.
The Scale is now available in a digital format on our automatic PFXi 880/950/995 ranges of instruments, allowing fast and direct measurement of the Klett Colour Scale.
Max Path length is 40mm. In some circumstances a smaller path length can be used, but must be noted.
