Silicate
Le silicate est l’élément numéro deux en terme de présence sur l’écorce terrestre. Le silicate dissous, sous forme de silicates, apparaît dans presque toutes les eaux naturelles. En raison de la formation de dépôts, son utilisation est indésirable dans de nombreuses applications industrielles. Ce sont les turbines de chaudières à haute pression qui sont les plus concernées.
