Calibration
In the course of operation, contamination or changes to the specifications of optical or electronic components may occur. This changes the measurement accuracy of the device and influences the measurement results accordingly. For this reason, it is important in terms of quality assurance to have the device calibrated regularly.
During calibration, standards are used to check the photometric accuracy of each wavelength against a reference device monitored by quality management. If measured values are out of tolerance, measures are taken to restore the original measurement accuracy. After successful calibration, a test protocol is provided to the customer.
