All cooling systems work on the same principle: Water is circulated by a pump through a pipe system to remove excess heat. No matter whether it is an open or closed system: Water is always lost, new water must be added. So chemical changes occur or microorganisms and deposits form. There are therefore certain parameters that should be checked regularly in order to avoid problems and extend the life of the systems.

The Test Kit contains all equipment and test reagents required to optimise treatments and regularly monitor critical control parameters quickly, safely and accurately, ensuring optimum output and efficiency.
The Lovibond® Cooling Weekly Test Kit is designed for use on cooling towers and many types of closed water systems such as chilled water circuits and heating systems.
The kit will enable end users to complete tests in between engineers visits. It should be used to monitor water conditions to ensure that the systems are under control and do not exhibit signs of corrosion, scaling or microbiological fouling.
