Conductivity Standards
Conductivity electrodes are robust and stable for a long time. However, deposits or damage on the electrode surface can affect the geometry of the measuring cell and thus the measuring accuracy. A regular check in solutions of known conductivity helps to detect possible measurement errors and to achieve high result accuracy in accordance with the applicable guidelines. The electrode is immersed in the conductivity solution for checking and the value determined is compared with the reference value. Lovibond® conductivity solutions offer great stability, a wide linear range and are safe to use. Many are traceable to NIST, ensuring quality control.
