New TB350 is all about innovation
Turbidity measurement with brand new sensor technology and mobile laboratory accuracy
You will definitely not find innovations like this anywhere in a handy format and in the truest sense of the word "to go". The new TB350 portable turbidimeter solves most of the problems users have with the quirks of turbidity measurement. Measurement inaccuracies due to stray light, complicated handling, limited measuring range: all this is now a thing of the past. The solution: the new Multipath 90° BLAC® sensor technology and a device that offers the highest laboratory accuracy in an unrivalled measuring range, even mobile.
Multipath 90° BLAC® is the name of the new, patented sensor technology. It makes the TB350 unique and the most versatile turbidimeter on the market. The special feature: Highest accuracy is guaranteed in the lowest turbidity range from 0.01 NTU and also maintains the outstanding precision level in the highest turbidity range up to 4,000 NTU.
The newly developed optical system works with two ingeniously arranged 90° detectors, both of which perform purely nephelometric measurements. This allows intelligent use of different path lengths of the input radiation into the sample. Different particle sizes and shapes are thus detected with undistorted measurement accuracy - even where the particle size distribution deviates from the calibration standard.
The new BLAC® technology stands for Backscattered Light Absorbing Cavity. The light-absorbing trap almost completely eliminates unwanted stray light and delivers extremely accurate results for low turbidities down to 0.01 NTU.
The new sensor technology was developed by a team of world-renowned turbidity experts specifically to solve common user problems in turbidity measurement. Easy-to-read, colour touchscreen and straightforward data management protocols ensure ease of use. Animated instructions guide through each step of the sample measurement to avoid errors. This makes the instrument intuitive and easy to understand even for inexperienced users, and above all, versatile and user-friendly. In addition, there is a special measuring mode for rapidly settling particles, the "Fast Settling Mode". It increases the accuracy of measurements for large or heavy particles from 20 NTU, but especially in the high measuring range up to 4,000 NTU.
